Join us Labor Day weekend for A Paella Party!

The casual Paella Party on Sunday the 3rd is prepared by Chef Jeff Weiss and the culinary team behind The Bear and Star who will prepare Weiss’ signature paella over a wood-fire. Using many of the ingredients from The Bear and Star Farm, the Paella will be served with mouth-watering sides including Watermelon Salad and Manchego & Shaved Spanish Ham. Guests will enjoy the picnic-style lunch under the shade on the winery lawn or seated in the dining area of the winery terrace.

No reservations are required; Paella is priced at $18 and sides are offered at à la carte pricing.

Smoky Summer Nights - West Meets West Texas Smoker Demonstration & Dinner

Follow the smoke to the winery terrace for the “West Meets West Texas” smoker demonstration and dinner that’s like no other on the Central Coast. Our very own Chef John Cox of The Bear And Star will smoke Parker Wagyu Tri-tip while James Beard award winning Chef Tom Perini of Perini Ranch Steakhouse will be smoking Texas Brisket. The event will be moderated by Daniel Vaughn, BBQ Editor for Texas Monthly Magazine and will demonstrate intricacies of cooking the different cuts of meat. Seating is limited to 80 guests and will sell out!

6:30 PM Brisket and Tri Tip demonstration 

7:00 PM dinner following demonstration

Join us for a special evening as we take a moment to celebrate the 2017 harvest. This year we are excited to have The Bear & Star on property smoking pasture raised pork dishes with their 30-foot custom reverse-flow Texas smoker. Their focus on organic, pasture raised pork will pair beautifully with our pinot noir and make for a festive, mouthwatering, family style meal. So join us as we raise a glass of our own Fesstivity sparkling wine and toast our winemaking team and Mother Nature in thanks for a successful harvest. Make your reservations soon, as this event will surely sell out fast!
