The launch of our Fesstivty sparkling wine project was one of the most exciting projects for us in 2015.  There was incredible reception to The Bubble Shack, huge interest in the wines and we were even named “clear cut winner” with our Blanc de Blancs in a blind tasting of Santa Barbara sparklers conducted by the News Press!  Our only problem…we didn’t have enough wine to really make a full go of it, but our new vintage will change that!

The Bubble Shack tasting party - a special tasting of the new 2014 Brut Rose and 2014 Blanc de Blancs with food pairings prepared by winery chef, Barrett Crandall including Clam Chowder with Bread, Tomato & Goat Cheese Tartlets and an Oyster Bar. 

Tickets are $40 / $30 for Wine Club members.  Limited to 60 guests

PINOT NOIR BY THE SEA FOCUS TASTING

Ready to dive in? Our Friday Focus Tasting will feature Pinot Noir from a select group of approximately 100 producers. Start your journey of tasting the world of Pinot Noir, mingle and meet the winemakers and principals and hear their take on specifics of terroir and vintages, as they present vineyard selections from their region. “Taste the place” while you nibble on fresh, local and seasonal wine country appetizers from the Bacara culinary team - and don’t miss the cheeses from C’est Cheese! Our Silent Auction will include large format and rare finds and will benefit the Michael Bonaccorsi Scholarship Fund and the Keith Patterson Memorial Endowment at Cal Poly. Opt for early admission to have some one-on-one time with the winemakers.

Spring is a magical time in our valley. It’s the best time to enjoy some green vistas and learn about what is happening in the vineyard. Lunch will include a brief vineyard tour explaining the intricacies of flowering, bud break, trellis systems and more. Our winemaking team will then give you a sneak peek at future releases with an opportunity to do a little barrel tasting. Lunch, the main event, will feature a seasonal wine country/family style lunch prepared by Chef Barrett. Members of the Parker family, winemaking team and tasting room consultants will be on hand to enjoy Chef Barrett’s creations paired with a wide selection of our single vineyard wines.
