Friday Harvest Lunches are back! From hand-sorting to punch-downs, discover what a Fess Parker Winery harvest is all about with this behind-the-scene look at the entire process. Enjoy a themed family-style lunch, prepared by Chef Barrett, with members of the Parker family, winemaking and tasting room teams. Our top single vineyard wines will be specially paired with the menu of the day.

Upon arrival enjoy a glass of Fess Parker wine while taking a behind-the-scene insider look at the harvest activities of the day.

Santa Barbara County Vintners Celebration of Harvest Festival

The highlight of the Columbus Day weekend is the Celebration of Harvest Festival Grand Tasting in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country. Held at the beautiful and historic Old Mission Santa Inés in downtown Solvang, the festival is walkable from almost thirty area accommodations. 

Hosted on the front lawn of the Mission under an expansive array of tents, 100 of our winery members gather to present their wines, often poured by the winemakers themselves, along with two dozen restaurants and food purveyors. Add in live music and wine/cooking demos and you have one of California's most historic tasting events.

Three ticket options are available ranging from $80 - $200 per person, plus ticketing fee. Each ticket is inclusive of wine and food tastings, and convenient parking.

Santa Barbara Chowder Festival

The Santa Barbara Chowder Fest will bring together some of the area's best eateries to compete for the overall title of Santa Barbara Chowder Champion, and for the first time this year, there will also be a chili competition!

Competitors will prepare and serve fresh, delicious chowders or chilis of all varieties that will be judged by a panel of experts and local personalities. Event guests will have fun tasting each competing dish as well as other foods, wines, beers and spirits -- and even vote for their favorite chowder and chili to win thePeople's Choice Award!  The event will include offerings from Santa Barbara's finest restaurants, wineries and breweries for guests to enjoy as they listen and groove to the live tunes of local favorites Tom Ball and Kenny Sultan!

Proceeds benefited the Legal Aid Foundation and its mission to provide high-quality legal services to ensure that low-income persons and seniors have access to the civil justice system in times of crisis, and to secure safe, habitable shelter, adequate income and protection from domestic violence and elder abuse.

Join us for a special evening as we take a moment to celebrate the 2016 harvest.  We are bringing in Celebrity Chef Pink, of Food Network fame and Solvang’s very own, hyper local Bacon & Brine Restaurant to help us shake things up a bit.  Their focus on organic, pasture raised pork will pair beautifully with our pinot noir and make for a festive, mouthwatering, family style meal.  So join us as we raise a glass of our own Fesstivity sparkling wine and toast our winemaking team and Mother Nature in thanks for a successful harvest.  Make your reservations soon as this event will surely sell out fast.

Wine Club Members, come by the Tasting Room Saturday, October 29 from 11am to 1pm and enjoy a sneak peak of the new releases in your shipment! Chef Barrett will be preparing gourmet pizza out of our pizza oven for you to savor while you enjoy live music on the terrace. Join us at the Wine Club Pick-up Party for a day of delicious food, lively entertainment and of course great wine!

Discover the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail with the Christmas on the Trail passport event. Create your own custom tasting experience and enjoy 20 customized one-ounce pours from 13 participating wineries over the openhouse weekend. On Saturday each winery will provide small bites for you to enjoy. With each passport you will receive a GoVino tasting glass and a 2016 Christmas on the Trail collectors item.
