Description

"...another pretty wine in this range. Sweet floral notes, cedar, kirsch, hard candy tobacco and incense give this mid-weight red lovely aromatic complexity to match its exotic personality." ~ Antonio Galloni's Vinous

"Ruby/plum-colored with notes of red and black fruits, spice, dried earth, and white flowers, it's medium-bodied, has a pure, polished, elegant texture, no hard edges, and just tons of upfront charm. It's well worth seeking out." ~ Jeb Dunnuck

Counoise originates from the Rhône Valley and is primarily used as a blending component in Châteauneuf du Pape, however we have chosen to showcase this varietal independently. This delicate wine possesses bright fruit, spice and fresh floral qualities. Pair this Counoise with grilled meats, fish, chicken, flavorful sausages or your favorite stew.
