Description

"Blackberry jelly is lifted by wood spice and strong toasted cedar aromas on the nose of this blend...Roasted aromas of coffee and charred meat give savory depth to the rounder berry fruit on the palate." ~ Wine Enthusiast

"Roughly equal parts syrah and cabernet sauvignon, this savory red has a blackberry core and scents of olive and laurel leaf. It's succulent and deep; for braised chuck steak." ~ Wine & Spirits

A rich, full-bodied wine where Cabernet's structure and depth are balanced by Syrah's jammy fruit-forward flavors. This wine offers savory aromas of dark berries, cassis, baking spices and vanilla that intermingle with earthy notes of dried tobacco, cigar box and saddle leather. Notes of dark fruit flavors carry on to the palate, with dark chocolate, vanilla and a hint of black currant.

This blend will pair well with spicey dishes, try with a rosemary & garlic spiced rack of lamb or a spicy grilled steak.
