Description
Even though Vermentino tends to be a light-bodied dry white wine it can also be deliciously complex and similar in style to a Sauvignon Blanc.
Our 2019 Vermentino offers up lively aromas of white peach, pear and pink grapefruit with subtle orange zest and mineral notes. On the palate, flavors range from grapefruit and citrus, to slightly salty with a rocky minerality and finishing with a nip of grapefruit pith.
This is a wonderful wine to match with medium-weight dishes that are rich with herbs and spices. It can easily match up to richer fish dishes, spiced pork sausage or even garlicky dishes like Pesto.
