Description

Looking for a big red that stands up to a great steak? Well look no further; this Petite Sirah is a full-bodied powerhouse with loads of dark fruit, dark chocolate, tar and smoked meat on the palate. This wine offers classic aromas of dark berries, vanilla, baking spices and pepper on the nose.

Don’t be afraid to pair with any smoked or roasted meats. This Petite Sirah will also hold up to richer more fatty foods because of its natural acidity. Better yet, pair with any dark chocolate dessert.

Wine Critic Reviews
"...packed with inky dark fruit, espresso, licorice, lavender and sweet spice. Unctuous and full-bodied, the 2021 possesses notable textural richness and a good bit of freshness to match. It's another impeccable wine in this range from Epiphany. Blair Fox did a terrific job in avoiding the massive Petite tannins." ~ Antonio Galloni's Vinous "Juicy black and blue fruits, peppery herbs, and violet notes all shine in the 2021 Petite Sirah Rodney's Vineyard, a medium to full-bodied, concentrated Petite Sirah that holds onto a beautiful sense of purity, freshness, and balance." ~ Jeb Dunnuck "Dark elderberry and tarry aromas meet with peppercorn on the nose of this rich and savory bottling. The palate is incredibly intense and complex, offering lilac, violet and blueberry flavors that are wrapped in balanced tannins and a persistent acidity." ~ Wine Enthusiast
