Description

Although it’s difficult to pronounce, Counoise (pronounced koon-WHAZ) is a red Rhône varietal that is delicious and easy to drink. It’s lighter and more refreshing than many of our Epiphany reds, but still maintains structure and complexity. It has quickly become a fan favorite, so grab a bottle while you can - only 106 cases produced.

A dark-skinned wine grape grown primarily in the Rhône valley region of France, Counoise is also well suited to the Santa Ynez Valley and sourced from our very own Rodney's Vineyard which is certified as Sustainable in Practice (SIP Certified). Typically used in blends, it also makes a delicious single varietal wine.

We recommend chilling the Counoise down ever so slightly before enjoying. It’s perfect for the warm summer months ahead.
